Local Farming

Kyo-ya Hotels and Resorts believes that locally produced food is not only the freshest, but most sustainable source to supply the community. Over the past few years, Kyo-ya has made a priority of sourcing more local produce for its restaurants and has even worked with the Hawaii State Legislature on the behalf of farmers to make it easier for smaller, family-operated farms to become food-safety certified and sell their goods to local hotels and restaurants. Kyo-ya also supports initiatives that benefit local farmers and train the next generation of growers.
